E-commerce started in the 1960s,When Businesses Choose Electronic Data Interchange  ( EDI ) to Share Business Documents With Other Companies . 
In 1979, the American National Standards Institute developed ASC × 12 as a universal standard for document sharing over electronic networks. 
It is impossible to imagine the history of e-commerce without eBay and Amazon  Which were among the first Internet companies to introduce electronic transactions. 
The decade of the 1990s saw a revolutionary growth in the e-commerce industry with the advent of eBay and Amazon. Users could now buy anything through e-commerce .


Types of e-commerce ( ई-कॉमर्स के प्रकार ):- 

There are many types of electronic commerce, there are 4 basic types of e-commerce;

1. BUSINESS TO CONSUMER :- ( B2C) 

In this business, a business sells products or services directly to the consumer over the Internet. For example, you can buy anything from Amazon, Flipkart or any other site. 

2. BUSINESS TO BUSINESS :- ( B2B ) 

In this, the company sells services or products to other companies. In this type of e-commerce, both the participants are businesses, as a result, the volume and value of b2b e-commerce can increase greatly. 


3. CONSUMER TO CONSUMER :- ( C2C ) 

When a consumer sells his product to another consumer on the Internet, then this transaction is consumer to consumer (C2C).In this, a consumer  sells his property like his used car, bike, to other consumer directly through internet.  

4.CONSUMER TO BUSINESS :- ( C2B) 

An example of this is the online requirement for setting up a consumer website. And many companies are ready to give it by making a website at a good price.

In this, many types of sellers sell many types of products on the same e-commerce marketplace. This has its advantages because the profits of big platforms also increase. And it is also very beneficial for the people.Because they get  everything they need on one platform .This also increases the customer . 

Step 2 :-

Branding the business ;
Now that you have decided which model of e-commerce business you want to start And have made a list of your own products and sellers, then now it is the turn to choose the name of the business. Now while choosing a business name, keep in mind that you have to choose a brand name.

There are many things you should keep in mind while choosing the name of Bussiness:-

-The name should be short which is easy to remember and reflecting your business, it should also be unique.You should also choose the logo of your business name.

After which you have to open a business bank account so that you can withdraw business tax in the financial year. 


Step 3 :-

Registering an e-commerce business is the most important part of starting an e-commerce business.First of all you have to fill the form for Directors Identification Number by visiting the website of online business of Ministry of Corporate Affairs and submit your documents. For this you need to have your PAN card and digital certificate . When you get your DIN, then you have to check the availability of your company name in the queue. You can also do this work on the website of Ministry of Corporate Affairs. After the name is confirmed, you are given 6 months time.Even after this, you have to apply for many things like patrol registration certificate for shop establishment license. 


Step 4 :- 

Open bank account ;
Open a bank account of yours and once your company is registered, after that you will have to get a bank account opened in the name of the company itself. You can open an account in any bank.If you have chosen the proprietorship model for your online business, then you will have to get the wrong registration done. Only after that you will be able to open an account in the name of the company. 

Step 5 :- 

Creat e- commerce website ;
Now you can create your website in 2 ways 1- pre built platform :- Like WordPress or Wix, the advantage is that you get many readymade templates.From which you can create your own website by choosing the template of your post. Even if you don't know any programming language and only have HTML 


2- scratch programming language ;
Woocomerce ,megento , sopify, zeepo, kartrock , These are some of the websites on which you can create an e-commerce website. Now it your  choice to choose on whom you create your website. 


Step 6 :-

Payment gateway;
You will need to set up your website and payment gateway such as credit card, debit card, net banking and case transactions. There are some popular properties like PayPal, Razorpayts. You need to submit some documents to get the payment gateway grinded on your online website Jese bank account,pancard,certificate,memorandum of association,articles of association,identity proof,address proff,website terms of use,website privacy policy. Once all these documents of yours are approved then you can start on online payment on your website. 

Step 7 :-

Logistics :- 
This step is very important for a successful e-commerce business in India.Logistics refers to the whole process of selling a product online to a system. This process also monitors the shipped goods until the bow is delivered to a customer.
